Nutella Trifle
If you thought I was done dishing out incredible desserts just because Christmas is over, guess again!
New Year’s Eve is right around the corner and while we can’t have parties, that doesn’t mean we can’t celebrate with this Nutella Trifle and wash it down with a Sparkling Margarita!
I am just a little obsessed with Ferrero Rocher, so much so that my family members always gift me lots of them at every holiday.
They go perfectly with this dessert and hiding one under the whipped cream is a must!
If I must be honest, I haven’t actually gone out on the town for New Year’s Eve in 18 years.
After losing a family member to a drunk driver on New Year’s Eve I couldn’t bring myself to be on the road that night in fear I wouldn’t come home to my kids.
So, I have always made lots of yummy food, desserts and drinks for myself, family and friends to celebrate safely at home.
This year it will just be Steve, my mom, the kids and myself celebrating and they’ve all asked for this Nutella Trifle as our dessert!

- 4 cups of crumbled brownie are approximately 1 (9x9) sized baking dish.
- For a boozy addition, pour 1 tablespoon of Frangelico Hazelnut Liqueur over each brownie layer.
