Pepperoni Pizza Dippers
Need a quick and easy weeknight meal idea?
Maybe a delicious appetizer or finger-food?
These pepperoni pizza dippers are a hit in our home.
Crispy edges and a soft dough filled with ooey gooey cheese and pepperoni dipped into a delicious marinara or pizza sauce – YUM!
You could even spread some of the sauce in them if you’d like, just go light on the sauce so they don’t ooze when you twist.
I plan to ring in the new year with some easy finger foods our family loves vs a big meal.
These pepperoni pizza dippers along with my Instant Pot buffalo chicken dip, spicy Asian wings, fruit, veggies and some yummy treats will make for the perfect evening.
Pepperoni Pizza Dippers
Sometimes the simplest of recipes are the best ones and these Pepperoni Pizza Dippers come together in a flash for us busy (or tired) parents.
Using pre-made dough, pre-shredded mozzarella and already cut toppings really speed up the already quick process!
And you can totally add other toppings to these, just be sure to not add too much or they won’t twist properly.
Also, if using toppings that contain a lot of water (mushrooms, pineapple etc), be sure to cook them prior so they don’t make your twists soggy!
I like to use Pillsbury pizza dough in the can because it is already in rectangle format – hello less work!
Pre-shredded cheese isn’t for me, so when I know I will be making these, I shred my mozzarella the night before so I have it ready to go.
