Halloween Memory Game
This FREE printable Halloween Memory Game is a great way to celebrate Halloween with your young children.
Of course, this year will not be a normal Halloween for many.
Whether or not you are in a COVID-19 “hot spot”, you may choose to forego the typical trick-or-treating for an at-home celebration.
We are in York Region and just entered a modified stage 2 with all indoor dining and gyms closed.
The government and some medical officials have advised against traditional trick-or-treating this year for COVID-19 hot spots.
To be honest, we had made the decision to stay home and create our own Halloween celebrations weeks ago.
My decision came from polls in local groups and it was a landslide of “not going out and not handing out”. I just couldn’t imagine getting Bella all dressed up and excited to walk around and find no homes participating.
That would break my heart so much, so I talked to Bella, explained the situation and ensured her that we would have a big celebration at home with our family and she is beyond excited for that.
I am hoping that this Halloween will so different from the usual and so fun, that one day she will tell her children of the time when she was a kid and there was a pandemic that cancelled Halloween, but that she had a big celebration at home filled with spooky food, music, games, crafts and lots of her favourite candy.
No judgement here, whether or not you stay home or go out, we will all make the decision that we are most comfortable with!

Halloween Memory Game – Free Printable
Print out this fun Halloween Memory Game to play with your little one.

Instructions:
- Print the Halloween Memory Game PDF package onto white card stock printer paper.
- Carefully cut the memory game cards into equal squares.
- Laminate them for prolonged use, be sure to leave space between the cards in the laminating sheet so you can cut them into laminated squares.
To Play:
- Shuffle all of the cards and place them in rows of 5 or 8 across.
- Take turns flipping over two cards each, if you get a match you keep it, if not you turn the cards back over.
- Play until all matches have been found, whoever has the most matches wins!

Preserve Your Printables
I laminate all of Bella’s learning sheets so she can use a dry erase marker on them.
This allows for them to be used more than once, and handed down to my nephew or niece later on
If you have little ones, a laminator is a great investment!
Amazon is where I bought my laminator, and where I buy all of my laminating pouches.
They have the best deal on laminating pouches, cheaper than Walmart (I checked), so buy them from Amazon if you don’t have any at home!
