Today on the blog I’m sharing a super easy recipe for Christmas Crinkle Cookies.
If there is one thing you can always find me doing during the holidays it is baking!
I host at least one big family gathering every year on Boxing Day for Steve’s family. We have a good 30+ people in attendance and we cook and bake everything ourselves.
Needless to say, I have to bake a lot of desserts, and a variety of them, to please the crowd!
These bright and delicious Christmas crinkle cookies are so easy to make.
They are a family favourite here during the holidays and year-round … just different colours!

Pour your white cake mix into a medium-sized bowl.

NOTE: If you find your dough too sticky you can add 1-2 tbsps of flour and knead until less sticky.
Next, cut the dough in half.
To one half, add a few drops of green food colouring and mix well until fully combined.
Then add a few drops of red food colouring to the other half and mix well until combined.
Place dough in the fridge covered with plastic wrap or lid for thirty minutes.
Preheat your oven to 375 F.
While waiting for the oven to preheat, roll tablespoon size balls in powdered sugar and place on baking sheet with parchment paper.
Bake for 8 minutes at 375 degrees F.
Remove your Christmas crinkle cookies from the oven and let cool before serving.
Once cooled you can pop your pretty Christmas crinkle cookies onto a plate and enjoy!
