Where has half of this year gone? I seriously cannot believe school is almost over, it is our last partial week here in Ontario!
Canada Day is right around the corner, and if you are celebrating at home you might need some things to keep the little ones entertained.
It’s been a while since I have designed a learning package for Bella. With her in school this year, my surgery, and everything else going on, they got put on the back burner.
Well fear not my friends, school is coming to an end and I will be busy creating (and sharing) tons of learning printables that I design for Bella to keep her busy, and learning this summer!
Today I am sharing this super cute and fun FREE printable Canada Day preschool learning package.
Canada Day Preschool Learning Package
Keep the kids busy, and learning, with this fun Canada Day Preschool Learning Package.
It’s filled with 23 educational pages for preschool to kindergarten aged kids, and the perfect way to keep the kids occupied this Canada Day!
If you want to get multiple uses out of your package I highly suggest laminating almost all of it.
This package comes with 5 different Canada Day themed colouring sheets to keep your little one busy!
If laminating your package, do not laminate the colouring pages as they will be too hard to colour.
There are also three alphabet practice sheets for your child. Tracing the upper and lower case letters will help fine tune those printing skills.
I couldn’t forget about numbers. There are two number practice sheets to trace numbers from 0 – 20.
There are two counting practice sheets which help your child learn number recognition and counting skills.
The two spelling practice sheets will help with word recognition, spelling, as well as printing skills.
Fine motor skills are put to the test with two different line tracing pages.
A fun activity that helps with shape recognition, as well as fine motor skills when cutting the shapes.
If laminating your package, do not laminate the page with the shapes to cut out in full.
Have your little one cut out the shapes, and then space them out in a laminating sheet.
Once laminated you can then cut out the shapes and attach velcro to the back of each shape. Also attach the opposite velcro piece to the main page shapes and you will have a sturdy matching game they can play over and over again!
The which one is bigger learning sheet will help your child recognize size difference.
Matching fun helps with word and object recognition.
Another fun fine motor skill tracing page that helps with shape and word recognition too!
The which one is smaller learning sheet will help your child recognize size difference.
More matching fun with shapes this time. This learning sheet helps with word and shape recognition.

Preserve Your Canada Day Learning Package?
I laminate all of Bella’s learning sheets so she can use a dry erase marker on them. This allows for them to be used more than once, and handed down to my nephew or niece.
If you have little ones, a laminator is a great investment!
Amazon is where I bought my laminator, and where I buy all of my laminating pouches.
They have the best deal on laminating pouches, cheaper than Walmart (I checked), so buy them from Amazon if you don’t have any at home!

I wish I saw these in time for Canada Day but I’m sure my son will still love them. He just finished preschool and is heading to Kindergarten in the fall.
