Since I shared with you my Copycat Trader Joe’s Everything But The Bagel Seasoning the other day, I thought I would share some recipes I use the seasoning in like this Everything But The Bagel Dinner Rolls recipe.
They are delicious and can be eaten as is, or you can slice them and use them for slider buns, mini hot roast beef sandwiches and even some yummy mini ham & cheese melt sandwiches!
Whatever you choose to do with them, I am sure they will become a family favourite in your home.

Everything But The Bagel Dinner Rolls
Whip up a batch or two or three of these soft & delicious Everything But The Bagel Dinner Rolls tonight!
What You Will Need:
- 2 Cups all-purpose flour, or more as needed
- 3 Tablespoons white sugar
- 1/2 Teaspoon salt
- 1 Tablespoon instant yeast
- 3/4 Cup warm water
- 2 1/2 Tablespoons butter, softened at room temperature
- 1 Egg
- 1 Egg white (for brushing the rolls)
- 1 1/2 Tablespoons Everything Bagel Seasoning
How To Make Everything But The Bagel Dinner Rolls

In a large bowl, combine the flour, white sugar, salt and instant yeast.

Stir well to combine dry ingredients and then make a well in the centre.

Pour the warm water into the well and add the butter and egg.

Stir well to combine and form a soft dough.
Knead the dough by hand until it appears elastic and forms a soft ball that pulls away from the sides of the bowl, adding up to one cup more flour as needed.
NOTE: This is a stickier dough – it will not form the same cohesive ball as a harder, proofed dough. Avoid the temptation to add more than 3 cups of flour.

Place your dough in a bowl and cover the dough with plastic wrap and a clean kitchen towel, then place in a warm area of your kitchen to rise for 2 hours.

Your dough should rise up like this!

Once risen, punch down the dough and divide into 9 equal balls of dough.
Grease a 8” x 8” casserole dish and place the balls of dough equal distance apart.
Place the plastic wrap and kitchen towel back over the casserole dish and allow to rise again for 1 1/2 hours.

Preheat your oven to 375F
Brush the risen rolls with the egg white.

Then sprinkle with Everything Bagel Seasoning.

Bake for 12-15 minutes, until rolls are golden brown on top and cooked through.
Allow them to cool for 2 minutes in the casserole dish before attempting to remove.

Serve as is or use them for sliders or mini sandwich buns and enjoy!
