The Sephora Savings Event is around the corner. Today I am sharing some of my favourite products that I use religiously, and a few products from BIPOC owned brands that I have heard great things about and am excited to try.

I am trying to be more mindful of my spending this year. Let’s face it, this economy isn’t the greatest and life has become expensive. I utilize sales like this to buy items I use so I don’t have to pay full price. If I can afford to treat myself to 1 or 2 new items to try come the sale I will.

Please do not feel pressured to shop because I or other influencers are posting about the sales. Buying new wardrobes every season, every new skincare and makeup product, or shopping every sale is not normal. It is also not a sustainable lifestyle for the average person – myself included!

Sephora Savings Event 2024

My holy grails in skincare from Sephora are:

Tula The Cult Classic Purifying Face Cleanser
Laneige Water Sleeping Mask with Squalane
Laneige Cream Skin Refillable Toner & Moisturizer

I’ve been using these products for a couple of years and they, along with La Roche-Posay Retinol B3 and Mela B3 serums, have cleared my hormonal acne!

Hair Care:

I’m a long-time Olaplex girly. I still love the shampoo and conditioner but have been trying out some more affordable options to save money.

Perfume:

As far as scents go, I have received some great perfumes through my FabFitFun subscription including Dulce by Rosie Jane and a variety of SKYLAR perfumes.

I have loved them all and if you are in the market for a new scent I suggest trying one of them out! They have mini sizes as well as standard if you aren’t sure you want a full-size bottle right away.

Bye-Bye Stinky Pits:

The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toning Solution is something I can never live without and I don’t use it on my face. I saw some people raving about its ability to rid them of stinky armpits and had to give it a go and it worked.

Fun fact: our sweat doesn’t smell, it only smells when it comes into contact with bacteria on our skin. Even with showering, our skin often has lingering bacteria. This product removes the bacteria thus removing the smell as the sweat no longer comes into contact with bacteria!

I have been using this for nearly a year now and I have not had a stinky armpit and no longer use any deodorant or antiperspirants. There is a set that comes with the standard and mini-size bottles for a great price vs buying separately. Highly recommend!

Makeup:

I purchased the Smashbox X BECCA Mini Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter while standing in the Sephora checkout line once and fell in love. It is a really nice highlighter and one I always reach for over others.

I bought a Rare Beauty liquid blush last Sephora sale and really like it. The trio I linked to has two liquid blushes and a liquid luminizer that I think are beautiful colours.

The rest of my picks I have yet to try, but I have them on my list of products I would like to try!

The sale starts on November 1, 2024, and runs through November 11, 2024.

Sephora Collection will be 30% off from November 1st through 11th.
Rouge members get first access and can shop starting November 1st.
VIB and Insider members can begin shopping on November 5th.
