I still remember the first time I received a cookie mix in a jar for Christmas. It was a gift I truly used, and I enjoyed every single bite! Today I am sharing a delicious Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix in a Jar handmade gift idea.

I don’t know too many people who don’t like a freshly baked cookie.

Gifting a cookie mix in a jar makes it even easier for cookie lovers to enjoy them with a little bit less work.

All your recipient will need is the wet ingredients, mix it all together and bake!

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix In A Jar

Gift the joy of homemade cookies this holiday season without doing the baking by making this oatmeal chocolate chip cookie mix in a jar.

Grind up the instant oats using a food processor or coffee grinder.

Place a funnel into the mouth of a quart sized jar and add in the all-purpose flour.

Next, add in the oats.

Then add in the baking powder.

Next, add in the baking soda.

Then add in the salt.

Up next is the chocolate chips.

Then add in the sliced almonds.

Next, pour in the white chocolate chips.

Add in the shredded coconut.

Pour in the brown sugar.

And last but not least, pour in your white granulated sugar!

Next, place the lid on the jar and secure it firmly.

• 1 Quart sized jar
• 1 c. All purpose flour
• 1 ¼ c. Instant oats
• ½ tsp. Baking soda
• ½ tsp. Baking powder
• ¼ tsp. Salt
• ½ c. Granulated sugar
• ½ c. Packed brown sugar
• ¾ c. Chocolate chips
• ⅓ c. White baking chips
• ½ c. Sliced almonds
• ¼ c. Shredded coconut
• Printable gift tag
• Holiday ribbon or string

Tools

• Funnel
• Scissors
• Hole punch

Instructions

1. Grind up the instant oats using a food processor or coffee grinder.
2. Place a funnel into the mouth of a quart sized jar. Add in the all purpose flour, and then the ground oats on top.
3. Add in the baking powder, baking soda and salt.
4. Layer the chocolate chips, then the sliced almonds and finally, the white baking chips into the jar.
5. Pour in the shredded coconut.
6. Top off the jar with first the brown sugar, and then the white granulated sugar to finish.
7. Place the lid on the jar.
8. Cut out the printable gift tags.
9. Punch a hole in one corner of the tag.

Notes
