DIY Gingerbread Sugar Scrub Men

These sweet DIY Gingerbread Sugar Scrub Men are the perfect holiday treat for your skin!

That’s right, these are not for your mouth.

I love using sugar scrubs to exfoliate all the dead, dry skin that the harsh winter brings.

The ingredients in these Gingerbread Sugar Scrub Men will not only exfoliate away that dead, dry skin, but they will also soften and moisturize your skin too!

DIY Gingerbread Sugar Scrub Men

These super cute DIY Gingerbread Sugar Scrub Men are so easy to make and would be a perfect handmade gift idea.

What You Will Need:

• Wilton silicone gingerbread mold
• 1 cup brown sugar – packed
• 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
• 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
• 1/2 cup shea butter soap base (4 cubes) or 1/2 cup coconut oil
• 1/4 cup sweet almond oil
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 5-6 drops Vitamin E oil

Gather all the supplies you will need to make your Gingerbread Sugar Scrub Men.

Add the brown sugar and spices to a large mixing bowl.

Whisk to combine and set aside.

If using Shea Butter soap, cut four cubes from your block.

Place the shea butter soap cubes or your coconut oil in a microwave safe bowl and heat for 30 seconds or until completely melted.

Remove from microwave and stir.

Add the almond oil.

Then add the vanilla extract.

Next, add in the Vitamin E oil and stir to mix it all together. 

Add the liquid mixture to the brown sugar and stir quickly to incorporate.

The mixture will harden quickly so you will want to transfer to the gingerbread molds right away.

Fill to the top of each mold, press down firmly to pack the mix into each mold.

Freeze for one hour and gently pop the sugar scrubs out of each mold.

Store in an airtight container or package to give as a gift! 

How To Use:

The sugar will exfoliate and the almond oil and shea butter/coconut oil will soften and moisturize your skin.

• Bring 1-2 gingerbread sugar scrub cubes with you to your bath or shower.
• Use the cubes instead of a sugar scrub and apply all over wet skin.
