Gather all of the ingredients you will need to make these air fryer Valentine’s Day donuts.
Remove the biscuits from the package and place them on a lightly floured surface.
Use a small circle cookie cutter to cut the centre out of the biscuits.
Place four biscuits in the air fryer, making sure they aren’t touching.
Cook the biscuits at 365°F for 6-7 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown on the outside.
Keep in mind– they should be the colour of doughnuts, not biscuits.
While the doughnuts are cooking, combine the powdered sugar, heavy cream and vanilla in a small bowl.
Notes: Make sure to use heavy cream as milk can thin the icing too much.
If you’d like coloured icing, add a few drops of your favourite pink or red food colouring and stir to combine.
Remove the first set of doughnuts from the air fryer and place them on a wire rack to cool while you cook the remaining doughnuts.
If you’d like to cook the doughnut holes, place them in the air fryer at 365°F for 3-4 minutes.
Allow the doughnuts to cool before dipping them in icing otherwise, they’ll melt the icing.
Decorate with sprinkles, if desired.
Note: You can also decorate the top of the icing with cinnamon and sugar if you don’t want to use sprinkles.
Store any leftover doughnuts in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 24 hours.
I mean, how good do these look?
