Every year Steve and I tend to be on vacation over Valentine’s Day, but years where we weren’t, we always stayed in.
We would cook a romantic dinner once the kids went to bed and enjoy some adult beverages too.
I actually think it is more romantic to make dinner together than go out to a restaurant.
Maybe it is my frugal heart, but I would rather stay in than go out on Valentine’s Day.
Even when we are away, we usually order room service and have a bottle of bubbly that we pick up at the local grocery store in Mexico.
